2011 SWEMA Spring Conference

The 2012 Spring Conference will be held at the Embassy Suites Hotel in Frisco, TX on June 3-6, 2012. Our 2012 host is Eric Celestine with TNMP and Mike Gagnon with GE. Mark your calendar and check back here for more information to come.

Once again it is time to make plans to attend the 2011 SWEMA Spring Meeting to be held in San Antonio, Texas. The Hotel Contessa is the host facility which is located in the heart of the world famous San Antonio Riverwalk. Close to the Hotel is shopping and entertainment for all ages. The conference activities begin on June 5 and conclude on June 8.

 

This year’s theme is “Remember the … Art of Metering”. This is appropriate as we are all finding our jobs evolving into new areas and away from the lessons learned in the past. Take this opportunity to learn from others in our industry. It will also be time to visit with old friends or make new ones while sharing your experiences.

 

Please complete the attached registration form and return to me by May 6, 2011. The registration fee is $225.00, which covers the entire event including the Monday evening dinner. You can bring one guest to the dinner at no extra charge.

 

For reservations to the Hotel Contessa, please call them directly at 1-866-435-0900. Be sure to mention that you are with the Southwest Electrical Metering Association (SWEMA). The room rate is $159.00 per night. Reservations must be made before May 6,2011.
